Prairie Eyes
The big sky country of the prairies haunts my imagination. It brings alive the ripening grain fields of my youth and bringing cattle home from a new pasture. It is also a poignant reminder of the round rag rugs of my mother's making and the oval tinted photographs of my great grandparents. These experiences represent more than just memories or nostalgia; they acknowledge the vitality and spirit of the prairies distilled in circular format prints with jeweled colours. Larger prints with elevators and windmills represent iconic landmarks that guide us to a final destination.
