Situation

AVI serves people affected by HIV, HCV, and substance use. Unlike many branding projects, this project valued and needed the input of all those impacted by the organization’s work including clients (Indigenous and non-Indigenous), volunteers, staff and leadership. Following eight months of in-person sessions to discuss acceptable/inclusive vocabulary, colour and imagery, the new identity and descriptor was launched and warmly accepted by the community.
