Wavelengths
Artist Statement

Imagine two people having a conversation: if every expression left their mouths as ribbons of energy, would these ribbons be aligned with each other, or would they be projected on wandering solitary paths?

"Wavelengths" offers fantastical abstract scenarios that visualize the emission of energy that we can't see with our bare eyes: be it the energy in conversations, ideas in dreams, or the interactions of stars in our galaxy.

I paint in an abstract language because it liberates me. This non-literal approach allows me to express movements, beauty, and forces through a unique combination of vibrant colours, textures, and mini-inventions. The process is intuitive, sensual, and analytical – a synthesis of different experiences and techniques that offers constant challenges and stimulations. There is no limit to what I can imagine and create.
